In this introduction to my Show Me The Screenplay Blog, I wanted to clearly state what this site is and who it is for and who it is not for.

This site is for serious screenwriters, directors and other creative talent who want to make it in the industry and who:

* Are eager to hear constructive critiques
* Are willing to do the work that goes into having a successful entertainment career
* Want to succeed in this business and are not afraid to work hard to do this

This site is NOT for people who:

* Are writing for the fun of it but not willing to put in the hard work that goes into making it in the entertainment industry
* Want to be coddled and told how wonderful they are — even if their writing is not
* Are unable to take constructive critiques

If you’re in the first group, terrific! Welcome aboard! And if you’re in the second group, this site is not for you although I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

The goal of the site is to take the knowledge and experience I have from running a successful management/production company that focuses on breaking emerging talent and to share this knowledge and experience with creative talent around the world who might not have yet had their break. Again, this site is for the serious creator who is willing to work hard to succeed in the entertainment industry (and it will be fun too, I promise).
